What is a Social Media video?
Social media hype videos are designed to create excitement around a player or team. They are great for use on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, end of season banquets, or to recap a recent big game. No two videos are the same but the goal is to tell a story about the player or team. These type of videos usually include some special effects such as moments of slow motion, transitions, and are set to music. There is a sample video located at the bottom of this page.
Social media videos are significantly dependent on the footage available to make them. Ideally you want a few different angles. One static angle or the same zoom level the entire time generally does not make for a good hype video. What is included?
There are no hard and fast rules but hype videos are generally between 30 seconds to 3:00 minutes long. It will be set to either copyright free or licensed music so you should be able to use it anywhere. Depending on the video, there might also be some moments of audio from the game itself in the video. It can be produced in either landscape or vertical format. We will coordinate which format with you ahead of time.
What will you need from me?
Footage! And lots of it!
Hype videos require a lot of video to make therefore we will need as much video as you have that you think might be usable. Even things as simple as your player walking into the stadium or onto the field are good to have. The videos should be in the best quality resolution available to you at the time or recording.
Within 24 hours after purchase you will receive two emails from us. One email contains a survey asking what you are hoping the hype video will focus on so we know where you want to go with this. The other email will contain a link to a website (dropbox) where you can upload your videos for us to work on. The sooner you get these items back to us the sooner we can get cranking on your video.
When will it be ready?
Our goal is to get your hype video to you as soon as possible but these require much more editing work than a highlight video. Our typical turn around time for a hype video is 5-10 days after we receive your clips and other needed information. As noted above we will need your videos and information form sent in before we can get working on your video so please get these pieces to us as soon as you can.
How do I get the edited video?
When your hype video is ready we will send you an email that contains a link to a website (dropbox) where you can download your video. That link will be active for 30 days so please download your video before the 30 days runs out. Once you have it downloaded you are free to use it as you see appropriate.
What if I am not happy with it?
It is very unusual for our customers to be unhappy with the final product but if for some reason you are unhappy please email us. Please describe what in particular you don't like about the video in order for us to evaluate what can be done. We will work together to find a common resolution.
